I would like to highlight two very important notices from the night:
Parking concerns
Concerns have been raised about parking on busy Thursday nights. Levens is a farming community and baling season is upon us. This means tractors moving at high speeds throughout the village. The crossroads of the Village Institute is particularly busy so we need to stop parking close to the junction as wide tractors need to turn in all directions from the crossroads. Reminder that people can park all the way up the shop road, and beyond. Anywhere we park must be considerate and ensure emergency vehicles can pass easily. Please car share where possible.
Keeping storage tidy
A plea to members to please take care when storing terrain and mats away. We should only store boxes back on the back wall and mats should be hung up. And, as always, pack all terrain back in the boxes it came from and report any breakages immediately to our Quarter Master Luke for fixing.
