Here are the 40k ladder league rules for 2025,
1/ We have a 40k league Committee, so any issues please refer to the committee.
Your committee members are : Paul Williamson, Edward Bennett, Luke Alwyne and Lee Ashley.
2/ 2 leagues only, with 3 promotions/relegations, once per year.
3/Season to run February to December 25th with no league games January. Final positions and awards will be done between Xmas and new yr.
4/league 1 is 12 strong so everyone plays everyone, however league 2 is 16 strong so not everyone plays everyone.
5/army lists will be locked in and required for each 3 month period, where upon you may change armies/lists. For points or rules changes by gw you may request to change your list inside the 3 months, but must have the committees permission, unless already stated by the committee. Lists to be submitted to Paul Williamson via private message.
6/ 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss, culmative points to separate equal points.
7/ Full points 3pt ( 0vp) for any person who’s opponent concedes. The conceding player scores 0pt ( ovp)
8/If a bye has to be introduced into a league, it will result in a 3pt (0vp) victory to whomever draws it.
9/ Games to be organized by 3 monthly fixture lists, that every player will receive after they have submitted their army list for that 3 month period. Paul Williamson will also have every players fixture list, which any player can request any time.
10/Scores are to be submitted to me ( Paul Williamson) by private message ( both teams vp ) and no one is to confer scores to other players.
11/All games to be played within each calander month, you may however play your next month’s game early, but must submit your scores within the correct month.
12/ Competitive play/scoring only, Inc Paint scores. ( however armies do not need to be painted ).
13/ paint scores is a hard and fast rule, no exceptions
14/failure to submit army list within the appointed time will result in a -10point availability to score ( before paint is considered) ie late list and not painted would result in you only bieng able to score 80pts in a game, this will last for the whole 3 month period.
15/ Games can be played anywhere, not just at the club, options Inc, Paul Williamsons House, GW kendal,Tabletop Republic (lancaster), the Shakespeare Centre ( see Edward Bennett).
16/Game ettiquite is expected by all players, Inc measuring and moving models correctly, correct use of terrain ect.
In any rules debates, if a person can not find said rule inside of 5mins a 50/50 dice roll is to be used. ( please see gw’s etiquette rules.).
17/WYSIWYG is in full effect, people must always use actual models, models must be a fair representation.
Proxies must be submitted to the 40k committee before the start of the league or upon first possible use. ( failure to do this could result in points penalties or your models banned ). 3 colour basic standard must be to a decent standard ( and not Inc undercoat ) the committee will review models ongoing throughout the season. ( please see Gw’s 3 colour standard rules ).
18/ players can complain to the 40k committee on any issue or about any player.
Players deemed not helping to organise their games can be penalised by the 40k committee, this could result in a 10vp penalty and a yellow card.
3 yellow cards will incur a -1 league point. ( all cases to be reviewed by the 40k committee, and penalties may be given after results.
19/ UKTC terrain and maps with associated missions to be used only a link will be sent to you with your fixture list,
